The children in baby room have been to the park, we had a snack picnic on the grass, played with the balls and ran with our friends. We love "exploring the world around us" it's is a key part of "Understanding the World" area of learning. It focuses on guiding children to make sense of their physical world, community, and diverse societies through exploration, observation, and experience. It encourages children to develop a curiosity for learning by providing them with opportunities to ask questions, discover, and understand the world around them. The frequency and range of children's personal experiences increases their knowledge and sense of the world around them – from visiting parks, libraries and museums to meeting important members of society such as police officers, nurses and firefighters. W e promote this topic through, planting seeds and explain life cycles to them. Explore and talk about different forces they can feel plan and introduce new vocabulary and encourage them to use it. Babies have been engaged in various problem solving activities. They have used their own ideas to use hand eye coordination. Preschool have been in the science laboratory today exploring with various chemical compounds, also known as bicarbonate of soda and baking powder. They combined the 2 together to see what would happen.In early years science education, the focus is on fostering a child's natural curiosity and encouraging exploration through play-based learning, hands-on activities, and observation of the world around them, rather than formal science instruction.
