Serendipitys Grantham operates from a converted Edwardian Church on North Parade, in the heart of Grantham. The nursery has 3 separate rooms for Babies 0-2 (including a cosy separate sleep-room), Toddlers 2-3 and Pre School 3-5. All children share use of the outdoor play areas which include a safety-surface play area, a slide, small sand-pit and a planting and growing area. We also make use of the wider community and children regularly go on outings and walks to local parks and places of interest. Our care is based around the fact that every child is unique and cherished and our warm and caring staff team offer high-quality childcare that is tailored to every child’s individual needs. Routines and activities are planned to ensure that each child achieves their full potential.
Our aim is to give all children the best possible start to their early education. We do this by providing the highest level of care in a warm, loving environment so that they feel safe and secure to seize the opportunities provided for them. Each Room is carefully designed and fully equipped with a broad and thought-provoking range of toys and resources which encourage children to learn through playing, exploration and by making their own little discoveries. We are guided by Ofsted regulations and the requirements of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Serendipitys Grantham brings a ‘home-from-home’ feel. As a small, homely nursery, the staff are extremely knowledgeable about each child and their families, and the care is personalised and tailored to children’s individual needs. Children form close relationships with staff and with each other and have wonderful opportunities to participate in day-to-day homely domestic activities and learn valuable life-skills.
